Our Work

Every project tells a story. We've spent years refining how spaces can actually work for people - not just look good in renderings. Here's what we've been up to, from cozy residential projects to larger commercial builds that needed some serious problem-solving.

Lakeside Eco Residence

Lakeside Eco Residence

This one was special. Client wanted lake views without compromising on energy efficiency. We used passive solar design and managed to cut heating costs by 60%. The triple-glazed windows weren't cheap, but they're already paying for themselves.

Bay Street Corporate Hub
Commercial

Bay Street Corporate Hub

Seven floors of office space that actually makes people want to come to work. We fought hard for those rooftop terraces - turns out, access to outdoor space isn't just nice to have, it's essential for productivity.

Queen West Loft Renovation
Interior / Residential

Queen West Loft Renovation

Old warehouse conversion that needed to feel like home, not a cold industrial space. Kept the exposed brick everyone loves but added warmth through layered lighting and natural materials.

Urban Green Office Complex
Commercial / Sustainable

Urban Green Office Complex

LEED Platinum certified and we're pretty proud of that. Living walls, rainwater harvesting, the whole nine yards. The building practically takes care of itself now.

Rosedale Family Home
Residential

Rosedale Family Home

Growing family needed more space but didn't wanna leave their neighborhood. We went up instead of out - added two levels while keeping the street presence respectful to the historic area. The heritage committee gave us some grief, but we got there.

Junction Triangle Development
Mixed-Use / Sustainable

Junction Triangle Development

Retail at street level, offices above, and residential on top. Getting the acoustics right was a nightmare, but nobody's complaining about noise now. Solar panels on the roof offset about 40% of the building's energy use.

Distillery District Restaurant
Commercial / Interior

Distillery District Restaurant

Historic building, modern needs. We had to work around original stone walls and wooden beams while fitting in a commercial kitchen and proper ventilation. The result's got character for days.

High Park Passive House
Residential / Sustainable

High Park Passive House

Our first certified Passive House and honestly, it changed how we think about building. The air-tightness testing was intense, but now the owners barely touch their thermostat year-round.

Community Learning Center
Commercial

Community Learning Center

Public spaces need to work for everyone. We designed flexible areas that shift from quiet study zones to community gathering spots. Natural light floods in from clerestory windows - no need for artificial lighting during the day.

Forest Hill Estate
Residential

Forest Hill Estate

When your client's got a serious art collection, every wall matters. We created gallery-like spaces with adjustable lighting systems while keeping it livable for a young family. Not easy, but worth it.

Net-Zero Coffee Roastery
Commercial / Sustainable

Net-Zero Coffee Roastery

Coffee roasting uses tons of energy, so hitting net-zero was ambitious. Geothermal heating, solar arrays, and heat recovery from the roasters themselves. The owner says it's the best investment they made.

Hamilton, ON 2023
Leslieville Townhouse
Residential / Interior

Leslieville Townhouse

Narrow lot, big dreams. We knocked down walls where we could and used skylights to bring light into the center of the house. Open-concept done right, where you can still define spaces without feeling cramped.
